responsibilities:
- Produce new and leverage existing design assets to deliver solutions that help users make data-driven decisions faster and provide a consistent, intuitive experience across multiple personas in complex scenarios.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to gather requirements, define problems, and deliver a cohesive experience across a large digital platform.
- Manage end-to-end feature design, creating amazing user experiences that delight our users and evolve a platform that is reshaping an industry.
- Rapidly visualize, prototype, and explore multiple product directions to validate hypotheses.
- Interview high-profile users to identify critical business drivers and needs.
- Apply your deep understanding of UX best practices to drive innovation in your products.
- Provide solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters and collaborate with other designers in a supportive environment.
- Contribute to building out practices and culture across the design organization.
- Champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.
qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in or related to design, UX, UI, graphic design, human-computer interaction, or other related disciplines (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of UX/UI product design experience. B2B SaaS experience is preferred, but you must at a minimum be able to work in a highly complex domain.
- Proven ability to translate business and user problems into understandable solutions.
- A demonstrated understanding of user-centered design skills, trends, and disciplines, along with high attention to detail.
- Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma and the ability to work across multiple levels of fidelity.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Lean UX environments.
- Well-rounded presentation skills and verbal and written communication.
- A portfolio that demonstrates high-quality design work with examples of producing clarity from ambiguity.
- Comfort with complexity, and the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs that balance user needs, design quality, and business realities.
