responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market Excellence: Define and execute a bold vision to scale our AI marketplace, leading consumer-focused go-to-market strategies, brand positioning, and customer acquisition campaigns.
- Strategic Leadership: Partner closely with the founder and an active board to align on strategic priorities and drive day-to-day operations with autonomy and authority.
- Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Marketing: Lead the creation of compelling B2C marketing campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to build brand loyalty and attract a diverse customer base.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid execution.
- Marketplace Growth: Drive strategies to balance supply (AI providers) and demand (customers), expanding the platform's reach and revenue through innovative partnerships and marketing initiatives.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting to support sustainable growth, while optimizing platform operations for scalability and efficiency.
- AI Advocacy: Act as a thought leader in the AI space, representing the company at industry events and championing our marketplace's transformative potential.
qualifications:
- Startup Experience: Proven experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced, resource-limited environment where you have had to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly.
- Go-to-Market Expertise: A strong background as a go-to-market marketing expert with a track record of successfully launching and scaling consumer-facing tech products.
- D2C Marketing: Deep experience with direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing, including digital marketing, brand building, and customer acquisition campaigns with measurable results.
- AI Passion: A demonstrated passion for and deep knowledge of AI, including having researched and used various AI tools, platforms, and trends.
- Leadership: Prior executive leadership experience (e.g., President, CMO, or similar C-level role) with direct responsibility for go-to-market strategy and revenue growth.
- Board Collaboration: Comfortable and effective working with an active, hands-on board, demonstrating a collaborative mindset and the ability to make rapid decisions.
