We are seeking an experienced TPM (Technical Program Manager) for the Program Management Team that will be an advocate of common workflows, driving the development cadence and prioritization of projects in the organizational strategic plan as well as documentation and organization of unplanned work.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) you will be responsible for leading key projects. You will be responsible for developing, driving and reporting on a coordinated execution plan within an engineering team for each project that you own. You will be responsible for ensuring resource planning, metrics definition/capture and cost analysis. This will be done in concert with our Business Partners, Product Management, Engineering, Modeling and Finance. You will get to work alongside a group of extremely capable, motivated, and self-identified "nice geeks" looking to solve some of the most interesting and hard machine-learning problems in technology.

responsibilities:
You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with Engineers and Product Managers to shepherd the project development process from inception to production for one or more projects
- Contribute to the resolution of workflow, process, resource and technical obstacles.
- Function as the project lead/ scrum master for the project(s), responsible for team activities including planning, sprint stand-ups and other project ceremonies.
- Raise and report on project health , status , issues and risks within the department and with stakeholders
- Work with Technical Program Manager, Product Manager and engineering teams to make and adjust plans as business priorities shift
- Ensure project compliance with TPM standards in the area and contribute to new TPM standards and tooling .
- Additionally, step into the Portfolio Management role as required during the annual and tertile planning process.
qualifications:
You should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems.
- 7+ years of tech industry work experience either as a SW TPM or SW engineer/manager. AI/ML/Big Data and finance industry experience are both pluses.
- Proficient in the TPM domain with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Prior experience running agile projects and knowledge of Jira and other project management tools. Prior experience using KPIs and metrics to drive execution and optimize business value is a plus.
- Strong planning and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to "translate" sophisticated concepts into business friendly language and a focus on building collaborative relationships.
