The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of a large global integration program. This program consists of several long-term, inter-related initiatives, each of which may be composed of multiple projects with specific deliverables. The work will be performed in accordance with a defined project management framework. The project scope may expand to include additional geographies beyond the initial focus.

responsibilities:
- Define the governance model for the overarching Manufacturing Integration Program, which includes sites in Mexico, the United States, and Italy.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership and the Program Steering Committee to define the scope of the program and its various projects.
- Define the communications process and frequency for the program.
- Determine the staffing needs for a team of program managers, project managers, and analysts, and participate in hiring.
- Create and manage a high-level, integrated work plan that sequences the activities required for successful program completion.
- Estimate and manage the resources (time, money, equipment) needed for the program and its projects.
- Develop integrated schedules and brief C-level executives, senior management, and other staff on project progress and updates.
- Define the objectives, benefits, and metrics for evaluating the program's success.
- Recruit and select project and administrative staff with the appropriate skills in consultation with IT Leadership.
- Ensure that programs are executed in accordance with approved project plans.
- Document project activities using defined forms and records.
- Establish a storage structure for all program information to ensure it is appropriately documented, retained, and secured.
- Monitor program progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Regularly review the quality of work to ensure it meets corporate and program standards.
- Develop roll-up reports for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on budgeted expenditures, cash flow projections, and variances.
- Ensure all financial records for the program are up to date.
- Ensure that all deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
- Evaluate program outcomes during required post-mortems.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Minimum 10-15 years of planning and senior management experience is required.
- Experience managing full-life cycle IT Applications development is required.
- Experience managing in a waterfall systems development lifecycle methodology is required.
- Experience managing acquisition-related follow-on manufacturing integration projects is required.
- Extensive experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Oracle Manufacturing applications is required.
- PgMP, PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is highly desired.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is desired.
- Supervisory experience is required; PM mentoring experience is desired. Strong knowledge of Project and Program Management methodologies.
- Previous experience managing similar large-scale manufacturing integration programs.
- Experience with integrated schedules and managing numerous simultaneous activities.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing applications and MES systems is preferred.
- Experience with system integrations with EBS and custom applications.
- Ability to prioritize key objectives and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to excel in a geographically-dispersed remote team environment and positively influence others.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, SmartSheet, and MS Project.
- Proficient in simple accounting, budget tracking, and database management.

- Program Management and Methodology Expertise: Minimum of 10-15 years of senior management experience with a strong understanding of program management methodologies. The candidate must be able to define governance models, scope, and communications, as well as create and execute detailed, integrated work plans for a large, multi-project program.
- Oracle ERP/MRP Systems Experience: Extensive experience with Oracle ERP/MRP systems is required. This is a non-negotiable skill, as the program is centered around a global integration of these systems.
- Large-Scale Integration Project Management: The candidate must have prior experience managing "similar large acquisition / manufacturing integration programs." This includes managing full-life cycle IT Applications development, particularly within a waterfall systems development methodology.
- Leadership and Strategic Communication: The role involves working with a geographically-dispersed team and requires strong communication skills. The candidate must be able to brief C-level executives and senior management on project schedules and progress, as well as define and manage a team of program managers, project managers, and analysts.
- Multitasking and Adaptability: The position requires the ability to manage a "very large number of simultaneous activities" and "respond quickly to changing priorities." The successful candidate must also be able to work across multiple time zones and handle a fast-paced environment.
