We are seeking a dynamic IT Director to manage the 24/7 operation of all systems, infrastructure and enterprise wide technology strategy for this mission critical business in Milwaukee. In this role you will lead complex, large-scale projects and ensure maximum production environment uptime, aligning with business goals. This role demands extensive IT knowledge to develop and optimize proactive support procedures across the organization. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise, proven leadership in managing diverse departments, and a deep understanding of industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct day-to-day IT operations, providing high-level guidance to IT staff and department managers.
- Coordinate and manage strategic partnerships with managed service providers.
- Establish and enforce policies to ensure the timely resolution of all IT issues, including helpdesk and critical systems.
- Administer and manage the overall IT budget, including all IT purchases and large-scale projects.
- Develop and continuously improve IT processes that ensure proactive IT support, problem resolution, and organizational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain robust data security, network access, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide continuous improvement of the entire IT infrastructure, systems, support, and processes to align with business growth.
- Lead the on-call support team for mission-critical systems and applications, providing guidance and escalation for major incidents
qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior leadership role.
- Exceptional technical content knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and processes.
- Extensive experience with technical project and program management, including largescale implementations.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation in a complex environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse population and maintain professionalism while interacting with all levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage multiple teams and personnel
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate strategic and technical information to non-technical executive staff and stakeholders.
