Development Assurance Liaison, works in conjunction with Program and Certification to ensure that the Development teams (Systems, Software, Hardware) are familiar with and working towards accomplishment of the Certification Objectives based on the Certification Basis of the Product.

responsibilities:
Becomes familiar with processes related to Certification activities, along with relevant artifacts.
Ensures that Development Teams are familiar with Development and Certification reference material and standards (e.g. MIL-HDBK-516C, ARP4754, MIL-STD-882) in order to provide needed artifacts for Certification.
Holds weekly coordination meetings with the Certification Liaison and Process Assurance Liaison.
Performs audits of processes and artifacts to determine if there are any errors or issues, and creates Findings to record these items.
Hold weekly meetings with Product leads and any other required members of Program or Development to discuss Findings and any other relevant issues.
Publishes up-to-date status on all open Findings on Confluence.
Makes weekly presentations to Program indicating overall status, and coordinating with Program to acquire assistance with resolving Findings.
Analyzes Findings and makes recommendations for Resolution in coordination with Development leads and Program.
Participates in at least 10% of all Peer Reviews.
Performs Certifiability Reviews on Product artifacts to ensure readiness for formal Certification.
Training and educating less experienced engineers on Certification activities and concepts.
