responsibilities:
- Translate complex requirements into feasible software solutions by thoroughly analyzing needs, studying systems flow and data usage, and defining clear problem areas.
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software features while strictly adhering to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and established quality control processes.
- Implement best practices in modern software engineering, including secure coding, thorough code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Actively collect, analyze, and summarize data on development progress and service issues to provide actionable insights and drive ongoing operational improvements.
- Proactively complete high-priority technical tasks and supporting activities to ensure the successful accomplishment of key project and departmental objectives.
qualifications:
Must be able to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship at any time.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
5+ years of professional, hands-on experience in software development.
Demonstrated success working effectively both as an independent contributor and as a collaborative member of a high-performing team.
Proficiency in at least one of the major object-oriented programming languages, such as Python, C++, or Java.
Java Ecosystem Experience: Experience with Java (J2SE) and/or Java Swing is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, modern Design Patterns, and User Interface (UI) design principles.
Practical experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) is highly desired.
Experience utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
