job summary:
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and tracking of a large, long-term global manufacturing integration program. This program consists of several inter-related projects that must be executed following a standardized Integration Framework and the company's defined Project Management Framework (PMF). The initial focus includes sites in Mexico, the United States, and Italy, with the scope potentially expanding to include other geographies based on business need.

responsibilities:
· Define the Governance model for the overarching Manufacturing Integration Program.
· Collaborate with IT Leadership and the Program Steering Committee to define the overall scope.
· Define the communications process and frequency for the Program by site as needed.
· Define and manage the team structure, including hiring program managers, project managers, and analysts.
· Create and execute a high-level integrated detailed work plan for the global Manufacturing Integration program.
· Determine and maintain resource planning (time, money, equipment) by site and by project.
· Develop integrated schedules that effectively allocate resources.
· Brief C-Level executives and senior management on program and project schedules, ensuring revisions are made as required.
· Assist in defining objectives, benefits, and measures for program evaluation.
· Recruit and select integration staff with appropriate skills in consultation with IT Leadership.
· Ensure programs are executed in accordance with approved project plans.
· Develop and complete forms and records to document project activities, adhering to the PMF and Integration Framework.
· Establish a secure storage structure for all program information.
· Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
· Review the quality of work completed with project teams to ensure corporate standards are met.
· Develop roll-up reports on the Program for management and stakeholders.
· Assist in monitoring budgeted program expenditures and cash flow projections, reporting variances to senior management regularly.
· Ensure all financial records for the program are up to date.
· Ensure project deliverables are on time, in budget, and at the required level of quality.
· Evaluate the outcomes of the program and projects during required post-mortems.
qualifications:
- Minimum 10-15 years of planning and senior management experience is required.
- Experience managing full-life cycle IT Applications development and using the waterfall systems development lifecycle methodology is required.
- Proven experience managing similar large acquisition / manufacturing integration programs.
- Extensive experience with MES systems (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and Oracle Manufacturing Applications is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a geographically dispersed remote team environment.
- Proficient in simple accounting, budget tracking, and database management.
- PgMP, PMP, Prince2, or equivalent Certification is highly desired.
- Fluency in Spanish is desired.
- Experience in Enterprise or Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, SmartSheet).
- Experience working in a regulated environment is desired.
- Supervisory experience is required; PM Mentoring experience is desired.
