responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Strategy: Define, plan, and lead the overarching program strategy for the dual card conversion, encompassing the Debit Card and Credit Card conversion.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage and coordinate all activities across internal stakeholders (IT, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Member Services) and external vendors to ensure alignment with the integrated program roadmap and timelines.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues related to the conversion process (data migration, system integration, vendor readiness, and member communication).
- Program Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain rigorous program governance, providing regular, transparent status reporting to executive leadership, highlighting key milestones, critical path items, budget tracking, and resource allocation.
- Conversion Execution: Oversee and potentially participate in on-site activities during the scheduled conversion weekends to ensure successful execution and immediate post-conversion stability.
qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Program Management experience successfully converting both Debit Card and Credit Card portfolios for financial institutions, preferably credit unions.
Card Processing Expertise: Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the card processing lifecycle, including core integration, settlement, fraud mitigation, and compliance.
Vendor Ecosystem Knowledge: Highly valuable experience working with major card processing vendors such as Velera (PSCU/Co-Op), FIS, or Fiserv.
