We have a 3-4 month contract opportunity for an HR Helpdesk Specialist. This role may extend beyond the initial duration based on fit and business needs. Candidates located in the Reno/Sparks area will be given preference though candidates in Northern CA, Seattle, WA, or Western Oregon may also be considered. This will be primarily a work from home position.

- Responds to employee inquiries via tickets and phone calls; performs data entry and follows established processes to support employee life cycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and personal information updates.
- Documents and tracks inquiries and resolutions accurately within the support ticketing system.
- Maintains and updates personnel files in accordance with company policies and recordkeeping requirements.
- Collaborates with team members to learn and support specific processes and HCM systems.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- 3+ years of experience in HR support or a related area preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
