The team supports system integration and validation activities for autonomous truck platforms. Work includes HIL and SIL lab testing, surrogate vehicle testing at the test track, automation development, and IT administration for test infrastructure. The engineer will collaborate closely with global development and validation teams.

Job Description
- We have HIL labs, SIL labs, and the BB test track where we put the hardware and software onto surrogate vehicles for on-machine testing and integration. The team does system integration and validation for autonomous trucks, IT administration for our test servers, executes testing, and develops automation and simulation for testing Participate in dealer/customer demonstrations
- Daily standup meeting at 12:15pm Execute existing test plans Develop new test plans for new features Debug issues Document issues Communicate frequently with development team in Australia Communicate frequently with the India validation team Communicate consistently with the onsite team
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience
- Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) test execution experience
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience automating administrative or testing tasks using Python or scripting languages
- Experience with complex system testing and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing Windows Server and Ubuntu virtual machines in VMware vSphere environments
- OS updates, account administration (LDAP), and SQL server administration experience
- Experience troubleshooting client/server applications in distributed global test environments
- Networking knowledge including unicast, multicast, and broadcast communication
- Experience using Wireshark for network analysis
- Experience supporting test infrastructure performance and reliability
