Senior Manufacturing Engineers needed to lead a team to create Fighter Jet manufacturing work instructions and documentation.

Required Skills - Team leadership, Create/update visual aide, Teamcenter (Product Lifecycle), NX (CAD/CAM/CAE), PowerPoint

Job Duties - Re-write manufacturing instructions for the F15 based on:

1. Review/understand the current instructions;

2. Taking pictures of the live assembly process;

3. Combining with many uncontrolled notes & job aids taken by the assemblers over the years;

4. Generate and review new work instructions documentation, and create review artifacts.

Job Requirements -

Minimum 10 years manufacturing engineer experience or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years manufacturing team lead leadership (or product line lead) experience or equivalent.

US Citizens - no clearance

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience in the Boeing manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

Experience in F-15 manufacturing will be a big advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team to create and update manufacturing documentation. Rewrite manufacturing instructions by reviewing existing documentation, capturing images of the assembly process, and consolidating various notes and job aids into a cohesive, standardized format. Generate and review new work instructions and associated documentation, ensuring all materials are clear and ready for use on the production floor.

Develop visual aids to support manufacturing processes.

Collaborate with assemblers and other team members to ensure all documentation is accurate and reflects best practices.
