Responsibilities
- Own the Connected Ecosystem: Drive the end-to-end quality strategy across a complex data pipeline spanning embedded firmware, iOS/Android mobile applications, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Lead and Mentor: Champion quality assurance best practices by guiding, training, and uplifting a high-performing QA team while fostering a results-driven environment.
- Validate Mobile & Firmware Integration: Ensure seamless data flow and communication protocols between mobile apps (UI, performance, and cross-device compatibility) and IoT chips, rigorously testing for edge cases like low power, weak signals, and unexpected disconnects.
- Manage Scale and Performance: Oversee load, stress, and regression testing to guarantee the AWS backend can flawlessly handle data from thousands of concurrent live devices without breaking existing functionality.
- Analyze and Prevent: Perform root-cause analysis on quality anomalies, establish robust automated test suites, and deliver bi-weekly KPI and reliability updates directly to senior leadership.

Must-Have Realities:
Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card holder, or H1B visa holder with an approved I-140.
The Technical Trifecta: Documented hands-on experience testing the complete data loop: Firmware ➔ Mobile Apps ➔ AWS Cloud. (Candidates whose experience is limited to standard SaaS dashboards or websites will not be considered).
Leadership Depth: 5+ years of total QA experience, featuring at least 3 years successfully operating as a QA Lead or Senior Engineer with direct team mentoring or management responsibilities.
Automation Frameworks: Strong background building and managing automated test suites utilizing tools like Appium and Cypress.
Ecosystem Tools: Active experience using JIRA, Firebase, BrowserStack, and AWS CloudWatch.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Nice-to-Have Capital:
Deep familiarity with wireless protocols and hardware-to-software integration.
Advanced expertise in configuring automated performance and load testing frameworks in Agile/Scrum environments.
