Position Summary:
Commercial Credit Analysis and Pricing Technology (CCAPT) supports strategic and BAU initiatives across the Enterprise Credit domain, with a focus on delivering scalable, well-governed business and technology solutions.
The Tech Analyst role is responsible for business and system requirements analysis, translating stakeholder needs into actionable specifications, and supporting solution design across complex initiatives. The Analyst partners closely with business, technology, and delivery teams to understand objectives, assess impacts, manage scope and requirements decisions, and identify integration points across the application ecosystem. They can also serve as domain subject matter expert, provide thought leadership based on implementation experience to strengthen requirements quality, traceability, and delivery execution.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and define requirements for CCAPT initiatives and BAU work, including business goals, technical requirements, platform dependencies, and capability gaps; mentor junior analysts and manage traceability and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Credit business and technology teams to elicit, define, and validate requirements that meet business needs.
- Proactively manage, communicate, and escalate risks to support successful project implementation.
- Promote a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive team culture while helping attract and retain strong technical analyst talent.
- Advocate for and advance Agile and HyperAgile solution delivery practices.
- Participate in testing, regression and UAT with team.
Required Qualifications:
- Business Analysis: Demonstrated experience evaluating use cases, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into clear technical specifications; domain knowledge in Commercial Credit Pricing, Spreading, Underwriting, or other Enterprise Credit areas.
- Ability to understand business needs, align diverse groups toward common goals, and clearly articulate problems and proposed solutions.
- Expertise in business modeling, business process engineering, process design, and documentation using standard and emerging tools.
- Structured Communication: Clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- AI & Modern Engineering Practices: Expert user of AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot, and other approved tools used at BofA; experience applying AI/ML capabilities to the business analysis process and using AI responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making.
- Agile & Delivery Mindset: Significant experience working in Agile / SAFe environments, delivering across multiple Program Increments, owning outcomes, navigating ambiguity, and making sound decisions quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology Management, or Finance.
