job summary:
We are seeking an Internal Auditor to help shape our audit strategies and strengthen our risk management framework. In this role, you will go beyond basic compliance-you will analyze complex business systems to identify operational efficiencies, strengthen internal controls, and uncover potential cost savings and revenue recoveries. Working under supportive mentorship, you will execute all phases of the audit process for moderately complex projects, acting as a trusted advisor to internal clients and contributing directly to the growth of our audit practice.

responsibilities:
Audit Planning & Execution: Contribute to the audit planning process by helping develop clear objectives and detailed test procedures designed to address key controls and risks. Successfully execute all phases of the audit lifecycle for assigned projects.
Risk & Control Assessment: Analyze business systems and operational processes to identify risks and key control points. Document your findings clearly using narrative summaries and flowcharting techniques.
Documentation Excellence: Develop comprehensive, high-quality workpapers that address audit objectives and solidly support your conclusions, strictly adhering to IIA Standards and IAS guidelines.
Value Creation & Insights: Interpret complex data to identify opportunities for financial savings, improved process efficiencies, and potential revenue recoveries across various operating departments.
Stakeholder Communication: Draft clear audit conclusions, proactively discuss potential issues and solutions with internal clients, and prepare professional summary reports for leadership.
Practice Development: Collaborate on risk assessment activities, help create innovative audit tools, build strong client relationships, and share industry best practices with the team.

5+ years of experience with auditing; internal auditing preferred
