We are seeking a highly analytical and technical Business Process Analyst / UAT to drive the design, requirements gathering, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for our multi-channel Healthcare Cost Estimation platforms. This dual-scope role focuses heavily on testing existing estimation workflows while simultaneously leading the gap analysis, design, and implementation of a federally compliant Drug Pricing Tool under the Transparency in Coverage regulation.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, managing comprehensive testing evidence, navigating complex multi-channel data, and ensuring our tools meet both business needs and strict federal mandates.

responsibilities:
Omnichannel Testing Strategy: Lead and execute comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across four distinct cost estimation channels:
- Internal Staff / Core EHR Platform: Testing the internal integrated cost calculator workflows.
- Internal Staff / Financial Estimates: Validating scheduled services and ad-hoc financial estimate workflows.
- Member/Patient Facing (Web): Testing the consumer-facing online Member Cost Calculator via the online Patient Portal website.
- Clinical Workflow: Validating real-time cost transparency and pricing behavior during the clinician ordering process.
Business Alignment: Provide clear, structured status updates to leadership and ensure final test results strictly align with predefined business and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Gap Analysis: Investigate the health plan's current prescription pricing offerings and perform a detailed gap analysis against national Transparency in Coverage federal regulations.
Platform Architecture & Migration: Collaborate closely with IT teams to design, map, and implement the migration of the Drug Pricing Tool to the core platform.
Requirements Gathering: Lead deep-dive design sessions to extract business requirements, author the comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD), and navigate the stakeholder approval process.
End-to-End Delivery: Own the technical requirements, system design alignment, and final UAT execution for all prescription drug cost estimate solutions.

Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or UAT Lead within a healthcare payer or provider environment.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of patient financial services, healthcare billing/estimation, or health plan transparency regulations (such as Transparency in Coverage or the No Surprises Act).
Technical & System Competencies
Technical: Experience with Epic (Tapestry, Resolute, or MyChart). Must have experience in at least one module; the team will train on others that they don't have
Tooling: JIRA (for defect reporting).
Proven experience conducting UAT or system configuration within large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms and consumer-facing patient/member portals.
Demonstrated experience authoring high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and comprehensive UAT test scripts.
Strong familiarity with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar enterprise testing suites).
Highly skilled in cross-functional collaboration, comfortable leading meetings that bridge technical IT developers and operational business stakeholders.
