Randstad Digital is seeking a motivated, hands-on Ground Service Handler Lead (Tier 2) to support an innovative drone delivery operation serving Chick-fil-A customers in Locust Grove, GA. This role is ideal for candidates with leadership experience in logistics, warehouse, retail, fulfillment, or operations who are comfortable working both independently and alongside their team to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.

responsibilities:
What You'll Do
- Lead daily site setup activities to ensure the operation is ready for a successful day.
- Inspect equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Direct workflow to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform quality control checks to verify order accuracy and package weight.
- Supervise the loading of customer orders onto delivery aircraft.
- Lead and support a small operations team by providing training, coaching, and day-to-day guidance.
- Assist with staff scheduling and ensure operational coverage throughout the day.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Promote a strong safety culture by following operational procedures and resolving incidents when necessary.
- Serve as the primary site contact for regional leadership by providing operational updates and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Previous leadership experience in logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, retail, manufacturing, or operations.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and lead a small team while remaining hands-on with daily tasks.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
