Position Overview

The Client's Procurement Team is seeking a part-time Procurement & Contracts Specialist to provide temporary support during a key period of procurement system and process initiatives. This individual will assist with contract and supplier data cleanup, support procurement system upgrades and implementations, and contribute to various procurement-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform contract, supplier, and procurement data review, validation, and cleanup activities.

- Support implementation and upgrade efforts for procurement platforms, including Ranger from Levelpath.

- Assist with procurement system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration, and process documentation.

- Maintain and update procurement records, contract repositories, and reporting tools.

- Support contract administration activities and ensure data accuracy across procurement systems.

- Validate contract metadata, key terms, renewal dates, obligations, and supporting documentation.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicate records, and missing contract information.

- Assist with procurement process improvement initiatives and special projects.

- Collaborate with procurement stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule.

- Provide general procurement and operational support to the department as needed.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract administration, purchasing, or a related field.

- Experience working with procurement or contract management systems.

- Strong knowledge of contract terminology and contract management principles, including the ability to review, analyze, and interpret contractual terms, conditions, and obligations.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.

- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or data migration projects preferred.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with procurement technology platforms such as Levelpath, Ranger, Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes and supplier data management.

Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on procurement professional who is comfortable working with contracts, systems, and data, and who can quickly contribute to ongoing procurement transformation and operational support initiatives. Must have previous experience with CLM platforms and contract administration, including reviewing contractual terms, maintaining contract records, tracking key milestones, and supporting contract execution.
