responsibilities:
· Design, build, test, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.

· Develop and enhance Amazon Connect solutions, including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, hours of operation, prompts, call recording, metrics, and integrations.

· Build AWS Lambda functions and reusable services using Python, Node.js, with appropriate error handling, retries, idempotency, logging, and security controls.

· Create and maintain integrations using Amazon API Gateway, EventBridge, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and related AWS services.

· Integrate Amazon Connect and AWS services with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, CRM systems, and internal APIs.

· Design event-driven and serverless architectures that are scalable, resilient, observable, and cost-conscious.

· Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK, and promote changes through controlled CI/CD pipelines.

· Build monitoring and operational dashboards using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, alarms, traces, and service health signals.

· Troubleshoot production issues across contact flows, Lambda functions, APIs, permissions, network paths, event streams, and third-party integrations.

· Apply AWS security best practices, including least-privilege IAM, encryption, secrets management, audit logging, network controls, and secure software development practices.

· Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, testing strategy, release planning, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, DevOps, QA, security, vendors, and support teams to deliver reliable business outcomes.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, deployment instructions, and support procedures.

· Mentor engineers and help establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, and cloud governance practices.

 
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- 5+ years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience, including hands-on delivery of production AWS solutions.

- Strong experience with AWS Lambda and at least one programming language such as Python, Node.js/TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, integrating, or supporting Amazon Connect.

- Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, JSON, and distributed-system troubleshooting.

- Experience with infrastructure as code and automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.

- Working knowledge of IAM, encryption, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and cloud security fundamentals.

- Ability to investigate complex issues across application, integration, infrastructure, and operational layers.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
