Direct the development and implementation of accounting information systems, policies, and procedures. Provide financial analysis and modeling as needed for highly complex and/or highly sensitive scenarios, in particular for strategic initiatives, capital investments, growth opportunities, pricing decision and contract negotiations; provide financial input on decision-making issues affecting the organization and its divisions. Assist with monitoring of investment portfolio performance, investor relations, and appropriate communication and reporting. Lead and manage annual and interim budgeting and forecasting cycles, and develop reporting to communicate appropriately. Assist in the development of tax strategies and transfer pricing policies between affiliated entities. As part of the leadership team, identify, structure, negotiate, implement and record complex transactions including stock transactions, M&A, JV's, spin off organizations and partnerships critical to securing and enhancing long-term growth. Assist in the preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors including preparation of meeting agenda, distribution of financial information in advance of meeting, prepare content and presentation of financial information, and follow up on action items. Implement and maintain necessary Oracle financial systems and reporting to support the needs of the Organization, including the Board of Directors, researchers, and management. Assist the Controller in identifying areas of focus and work with the Controller in the development of procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. May require occasional travel.
