We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Office Manager & Payroll Assistant to serve as the operational backbone of our clients facility. This role is a unique hybrid of high-level administrative management and critical financial support. You will ensure our clients office runs like a well-oiled machine while serving as the primary backup and coordinator for our complex, high-volume payroll system.salary: $55,000 - $58,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesPayroll & HR Support Payroll Continuity: Act as the primary backup for the Payroll Manager, capable of executing full-cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and seasonal employees. Time & Attendance: Monitor digital time-tracking systems to reconcile discrepancies, verify overtime, and ensure compliance with labor laws and shift differentials. Onboarding: Lead the administrative onboarding process for new hires, including document verification (I-9s), benefit enrollment, and safety orientation scheduling. Reporting: Generate weekly labor cost reports to help department heads manage their budgets against production yields. Office Operations Facility Coordination: Manage vendor relationships (cleaning, security, IT, and maintenance) to ensure a safe and professional working environment. Supply Management: Oversee procurement for office essentials and PPE, ensuring the team never runs low on the tools they need to stay productive. Liaison Services: Serve as the central point of contact between the production floor, the logistics team, and corporate headquarters. Culture & Engagement: Coordinate company events, "milestone" celebrations, and internal communications to maintain a positive workplace culture.
