This is a management position with hands-on responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom-line results. Coordinate all mold changes with the mold setters and materials with the appropriate personnel. Ensure the press cycle sheets on the work order are maintained and initialed. Utilize IQMS (production monitoring system) to monitor the efficiencies of all operators on the production floor and correct inefficiencies when found. Evaluate and optimize the production processes for quality and rate improvements. Ensure operators have received all necessary training to perform the job properly, and update training files accordingly. Enforce all safety rules, report any unsafe conditions, and give disciplinary action as required per established procedures. Monitor all processing changes and record as necessary. Ensure target cycles are achieved.
