job summary: A Lab Technician is needed for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, whose areas of business include pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare products, agricultural chemicals, seeds and biotechnology products in the Saint Louis, MO area. This role is focused on improving and deploying innovative mechanical and electrical systems, requiring basic lab, testing, and communication skills, with a strong preference for hands-on fabrication and electronic experience. location: Saint Louis, Missouri job type: Contract salary: $18.67 - 23.97 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Challenge existing methods and drive improvements for higher throughput, quality, and integration.Support engineering and science teams in researching and constructing innovative solutions.Support the development, construction, deployment, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems in various environments (laboratory, production, agricultural, domestic, and international).Support the startup and functional testing of working prototypes to validate system performance against requirements.Collaborate with Safety departments to ensure compliance with company and industry safety and design standards. Skills: Basic knowledge of constructing and testing electrical and mechanical systems.Experience in laboratory environments, including sample preparation, data collection, and management.strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with multiple supervisors.Experience using standard office productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
