Job Description: Effective and consistent running of the machine you are assigned to. Support production line process by monitoring product flow, packing cartons, palletizing finished product and maintaining packaging needs. A good understanding of the machinery & ensuring you achieve the desired results in terms of Quality, Safety, Hygiene and Waste. This will be achieved through having the knowledge and understanding of the assigned machines on the line, process, and products. Attention to detail and always operating within the required parameters of your machines. Push and check bars. Dump particulates and variegate. Provide packaging material for production lines. Perform packaging duties, i.e. packing, palletizing. Clean production areas (floors) and remove trash/debris. Ensure product/packaging quality and accuracy. Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures. Follow all GMP policies. To communicate effectively with the entire team. Ensure health and safety requirements are fully met and a positive safety culture is maintained throughout the line Communicates all problems and concerns to appropriate personnel (Supervisor, QA, Maintenance, Production, etc.). Must be able to grip/use a low-pressure hot water hose/nozzle (80-100 lbs. of pressure) for 30 minutes to 1-hour periods. Always maintains a professional attitude; Communicates with the team professionally and executes thorough pass downs daily with outgoing/incoming shift.
