Provides leadership and management to the departments on individual shifts to achieve company’s core strategies. Work directly under the production manager to ensure daily production operations are implemented Ensures adherence to mandatory safety requirements and enforces safety policies. Conducts safety observations, audits, and actively seeks opportunities for improvement. Monitors and enforces safety policies and procedures within the work area. Act as the primary technical expert for all assigned work areas. Participate in meetings covering various topics including quality, safety, performance, staffing, art, shipping, and scheduling. Communicate pertinent concerns and issues during shift changes with peers as required. Coordinate seamlessly with other departments and team leaders to facilitate smooth operations. Engage in cross-training with other supervisors to ensure coverage during absences. Educate teams daily on the Plan vs. Actual process during meetings. Verify time and attendance daily using the Dayforce work system.
