Job Summary: Electro Mechanic I Company: Alcon Location: Johns Creek Manufacturing (JCM) Shifts: Rotating Shifts, Two Days On/Two Days Off, Overtime and Weekends Required Position: Temporary to Hire Position Purpose The Electro Mechanic I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production and cartoning equipment. The primary goal is to minimize production downtime while maximizing yield and quality.Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems. System Improvements: Collaborate with higher-level Electro Mechanics to improve preventative, corrective, predictive, and spare parts maintenance systems. Upgrades & Projects: Assist with technical projects, equipment retrofits, and process upgrades. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Supervisors, Managers, Engineers, and other Electro Mechanics. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High school diploma with a technical school certification (e.g., Manufacturing Technology) or equivalent experience. Must hold a specialized diploma/degree or industry certification in at least one relevant core discipline. Experience: At least two (2) years of related experience with a technical certification, OR three (3) years of related manufacturing experience without a certification. Proven experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, FDA regulations, and safety practices. Skills: Expert-level skills in one or more core disciplines, excellent analytical and PC skills, and familiarity with industry standards including ISO13485, MDSAP, EU MDR/MDD, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Language: Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English salary: $30 - $33.99 per hourshift: Thirdwork hours: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Electromechanical Technician is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in developing and maintaining electromechanical systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and assembly. You will also assist in equipment calibration and repair, requiring advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.Troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative and corrective maintence for all production equipment including, technical problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems. Experience with: * Maintenance of full automated manufacturing or medical/food manufacturing * Experience with 480V 3-Phase Electrical * Lockout and Tagout process and understanding * Troubleshooting skills to include: PLC's, electrical and pneumatic schematics, 3-phase motors, motor drives and cylinders * Hands on maintenance, electrical and programming * Assisting with improvements to the maitenance systems - Preventative, Corrective and Predictive.
