Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of skilled craftsmen in the fabrication of millwork components. Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet project timelines. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications. Inspect and ensure the quality of finished millwork products, maintaining adherence to design and industry standards. Train and mentor shop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure working environment. Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the production process. Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless transition from shop to site. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Shop foreman in a millwork or woodworking environment. In-depth knowledge of millwork materials, techniques, and industry standards. strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with relevant tools, machinery, and equipment used in millwork fabrication. Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
