job summary: Project Assistant needed in Akron OH for a leading engineering and construction firm. This person will join a fast paced team of construction professionals managing projects across the country. Focusing on project support, documentation and SCADA support, you will have the opportunity to work with the best in the business. The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of hands-on industry experience. We are looking for a professional with a strong technical command of SCADA, GIS, or HMI systems. location: Akron, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $28 - 30 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Assist Project Manager in preparation of client contracts and sub-contracts, including facilitating contract reviews by coordinating with internal departments, such as Legal, Insurance, Purchasing, and Safety.Manage project set-up in corporate Management Information System; run reports to communicate project financials and status to PM and team; collaborate with PM to make monthly adjustments as needed.Facilitate the dissemination of information to vendors, subconsultants, clients and project teams as part of the overall communications and project management process.Prepare and present meeting notes, presentations and tables utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs.Monitor projects deadlines and benchmarks and support presentation of monthly progress reports covering action items and progress updates.Assist in planning, coordination efforts and facilitate on-site and off-site meetings for the project.
