job summary: A Sr. Construction Field Representative Mechanical Piping is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Batavia, OH area. This position manages Mechanical Piping construction in a food/industrial setting, ensuring quality, safety, and communication while overseeing subcontractors and schedules. location: Batavia, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $49.32 - 72.84 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Oversee Mechanical Piping construction for the Batavia Dry Project in a food/industrial manufacturing environment.Provide onsite professional services, including engineering inspection and control.Support quality workmanship, safe environment, job project staffing, schedule adherence, QA/QC activities, and follow-up action items.Provide daily and weekly reports to the Site Management Team.Coordinate daily installation activities with construction contractors and stakeholders.Manage the Extra Work Order (EWO) process and track the EWO log.Ensure subcontractors complete weekly quality control inspection reports and tests.Set and drive a culture of safety, communication, teamwork, and accountability.Support all aspects of project execution in the field, mitigating risks and holding contractors accountable.Ensure a safe working environment based on Nestle H&S specifications.Evaluate welding, reinforcing steel, underground piping, concrete, equipment, alignment, fabricated items, insulation, labeling, and cost codes.Review design vs. installation planning in the field to ensure proper installation.Build and maintain critical path schedules to communicate program status.Validate and perform redlines for final as-built documentation.Act as a Day-to-Day "Spokesperson" for contractors, plant, engineering, and vendor representatives.Ensure the correct use of drawings and manage discrepancy reports.Review and approve accident reports.Conduct weekly job meetings with published notes.Focus on punchlist items for plant, contractor, and engineering.Perform construction and value engineering review. Basic Qualifications: Education: Preferred certifications: PMP, PMI, GAC, CCM, CMCI, CMAA, or similar.OHSA 30 certification.CPR Training.Fall Protection certification. Experience: 5-10 years of Construction Management experience in the field.MUST HAVE: Mechanical Piping construction experience in a food/industrial manufacturing environment.Strongly preferred: Food manufacturing construction experience (green field, brown field).Experience managing projects through all phases of construction.
