job summary: A Data Entry Clerk is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Lenexa, KS area. This position involves supporting multiple areas by retrieving, updating, and organizing digital documents and database files, with responsibilities including data entry, verification, and maintenance, requiring attention to detail, computer literacy, and communication skills.   location: Lenexa, Kansas job type: Contract salary: $15 - 17 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School   responsibilities: Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.Establish entry priorities and process training source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.Resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.Enter training data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on the keyboard according to screen format.Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.Verify entered training data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.Combine data from both systems when account information is incomplete. As a special handler you are responsible for the specialized processing of the company's products. Activities may include inserting or de-inserting envelopes; printing detail sheets; collecting and validating materials; collating and assembling kits; and weighing, metering, and sorting envelopes. Special handlers may use personal computers and a variety of software applications or vendor-provided equipment to track, process, and/or complete their work. This position is Monday-Friday 6pm-2:30am or Wed-Sat 6pm-4:30am but you must be open to working 12 hour shifts (6pm-6am) and weekends!!!
