We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to support our manufacturing department in Miami. The InventoryClerk will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for our manufacturing operations. This role requires solidcommunication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. salary: $35,600 - $41,600 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies needed for production.Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and place orders.Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.Coordinate with other departments such as production, warehousing, and accounting to fulfill purchasing requirements.Track shipments and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders.Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders, invoices, or deliveries.Assist with vendor management, including evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings.Accounts for all inventory of parts and equipment and maintains inventory records. All inventory functions are tracked through the company’s database, a hand-held device weighing less than 5 pounds.Retrieves inventory items from the warehouse, packs on a pallet, and wraps items together with cellophane for shipment.Perform daily cycle counts of all inventory locations.Be accurate and timely with collecting packing slips, receipts, paper work.
