job summary: Job Description: Release manager will be responsible for supporting tasks related to the release management lifecycle, focusing on coordinating various aspects of lower lanes and production releases, LATAM Finance releases, RISE Deliverables, Broker Dealer and US Regulatory Reporting systems. These tasks include but not limited to scope discussion with scrum teams, deployment activities coordination with tech leads, change request creation, handover planning with deployment teams and deployment coordination across all teams.Excellent communication and organization skills are required. Should be flexible to support evening and weekend deployment activities as needed. Required Skills: Previous experience with managing releases for complex system, functional knowledge of Runbook creation and technology components.Demonstrates problem solving skills and takes initiatives and must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.Oversees and assist in the planning, scheduling, communication, coordination and execution of releases.Ability to be flexible, prioritize work load, proactively react to issues and coordinate effectively with multiple teams during releases.Facilitate the Agile release events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value.Resolving release escalations, tracks and manages releases and dependencies supporting implementation deliverables.Communicate with stakeholders, coordinate with external vendors, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement.Technical understanding of technology components like Axiom, Python, .NET, UI, Informatica, Autosys, Database XLR/Radical, PEGA & Tableau.Experience with creating Release Management metrics and reports.Performs other duties as assigned Desired Skills: Candidate should preferably have an understanding of Release Management, Change Management, Deployment runbook creation, JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, Reports and excelBanking Domain experience is a plus Business Rationale: Release Manager is required to focus on US Reg reporting releases (lower lanes and Production), RISE Deliverables, Broker Dealer and LATAM releases.
