We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, facilities management, and process improvement in Ontario, California. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role involves executing engineering solutions, optimizing production processes, managing personnel and budgets, and supporting the successful launch of new products. The Maintenance Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality Assurance, and Product Development, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards, including FDA, OSHA, and GMP requirements.salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Serve as a key member of the Manufacturing Management Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational planning. Lead all maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance of production equipment and facility systems. Develop, implement, and manage maintenance budgets with a focus on identifying and achieving cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate closely with Product Development to ensure efficient, scalable start-ups for new products and production trials. Assign and supervise daily tasks for maintenance staff, managing schedules to meet production needs. Maintain facility infrastructure and support systems to ensure optimal working conditions. Champion and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and workplace safety standards. Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, process capability studies, and implementation of best practices. Provide technical training and support to operators and maintenance personnel. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Support regulatory compliance programs and actively participate in audits. Maintain accurate records and implement process controls, including statistical process control (SPC) systems. Collaborate with other departments on cost reduction and value enhancement initiatives.
