We are recruiting a Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for general maintenance and repairs to building structures, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work within regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems under the direction of the Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, make repairs to plumbing fixtures, and maintain accountability of daily work orders. Monitor equipment and supplies, and notify supervisors of needed repair or replacement. Comply with organization policies for risk management and safety, complete administrative paperwork, and maintain a professional image when interacting with customers. Participate in all required facility and Campus Operations training programs (e.g., cart, forklift, boom, and platform lift). Requirements & Experience A high school diploma or GED and a valid Georgia driver’s license are required. Technical school training in electrical or HVAC is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing trade. Experience with 480/277 volt and 208/120-volt systems is beneficial. The role requires the ability to read technical diagrams, work irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays), and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
