The primary focus of this role is high transactional accounting and budgeting, necessitating advanced Excel skills and proactive data analysis capabilities. Job Details: Type: Direct Hire (no temp to perm or contract period) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, hybrid work modality with 2-3 in-person days post-onboarding Annual Salary Range: $50,000-55,000 with comprehensive benefits package salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Manage financial transactions exceeding $5M and analyze budgets throughout their life cycle. Maintain financial records, adhere to best practices, reconcile accounts, and process funds using specialized software and SAP in compliance with University procedures. Collaborate with administrators, faculty, staff, and external clients on financial matters. Forecast financial scenarios based on business practice changes. Develop reports, perform data analysis, and facilitate the transition to a new billing system in 2024. Essential Functions: Estimate yearly revenue and expense budgets, review proposed budget plans, and recommend alternatives for fiscal compliance. Assist in quarterly and final budget submissions and develop profit and loss statements. Track revenue, expenditures, and conduct monthly budget reconciliations. Process invoices for deposits and services rendered through specialized software. Coordinate with the Treasurer’s Office for ACH payments reconciliation. Compile data for various reports, assist in making budget projections, and develop quotes for invoicing. Develop Standard Operating Procedures for financial transactions and reports. Maintain meticulous documentation for auditing purposes and adhere to financial policies and deadlines. Update yearly pricing rates and participate in division committees.
