In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and setup of critical manufacturing assets, including dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Perform complete teardowns and detail swaps to accommodate different part runs. Precision Machining: Utilize manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders to alter or repair tools and templates. Quality Control: Interpret technical blueprints and use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, and verniers) to verify that parts meet exact tolerances. System Documentation: Manage work orders and track labor/inventory transactions using the EAM system. Floor Support: Assist with die setting at the presses and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes. Qualifications Proven experience in tool and die repair within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with manual machining (mill, lathe, grinder). Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
