job summary: Our client, a leader in the advanced Polymer Material manufacturing is looking for a Controls Engineer in the Pineville, NC area. Key qualifications include, 5-10 years of experience in process control and automation and 5-10 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring DeltaV, PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems. A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field is required. location: Pineville, North Carolina job type: Permanent salary: $95,000 - 105,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Design and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain control systems including DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA software to "World Class" standards.Project Leadership: Lead the development and execution of small electrical and controls projects, including upgrading obsolete systems.Troubleshooting & Support: Provide hardware and software application support to production and maintenance teams, and troubleshoot systems using technical documents.Preventative and Corrective Actions: Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and correct system faults after power outages.System Setup & Improvement: Set up and configure replacement components, and continuously improve existing controls systems like ladder logic, motor controls, and operator interfaces.
