The P&C Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing various technical aspects, including high voltage one-line diagrams, communication network diagrams, and three-line diagrams. You will also be involved in computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, preparing equipment and system specifications, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in protective relay coordination and settings calculations for high voltage (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV) transmission systems, with experience using Schweitzer and General Electric relay and communication equipment. Understanding FERC and NERC requirements related to electric utility substation reliability is important.
