The role involves managing account retention and growth through product sales, promotion execution, and marketing material distribution. This position functions as a link between the field sales team, the office, and support departments to ensure the delivery of products and services.Core Responsibilities System Management: Update account contact information, venue details, and program records within the customer management system. Inquiry Resolution: Address customer questions regarding SKU rationalizations, pricing adjustments, asset transfers, and ownership changes. Operational Support: Oversee account setup, maintenance, equipment service requests, and accounting disputes. Issue Mitigation: Identify and implement solutions for logistics issues, product tracking, and delivery claims. Business Planning: Collaborate with field leadership to set goals and identify customer support requirements. Outreach & Sales: Conduct phone-based outreach calls to existing accounts. Develop a sales strategy to identify opportunities within the assigned territory. Reporting: Measure weekly sales activities. Prepare monthly and annual portfolio performance analyses to track progress against benchmarks. Lead Qualification: Manage beverage business leads by qualifying and converting opportunities through the CRM. Communication: Serve as a liaison regarding policy changes, inventory updates, and system interruptions. Experience Requirements Years of Experience: 2+ years in a role involving account management or customer service. Industry Background: Experience in the coffee, beverage, or foodservice industry. Sales Background: Experience with phone-based sales and CRM software.
