The Controller will assume a pivotal role in overseeing various financial and operational aspects, including accounting, cost analysis, budgeting, taxation, cash management, and human resources functions. A solid background in Cost Accounting and Inventory management is highly advantageous location: West Harrison, New York job type: Permanent salary: $130,000 - 150,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 7 Years responsibilities: Supervise and manage accounting, human resources, and cost accounting operations.Prepare and deliver financial reports.Execute monthly financial closings.Drive budgeting and forecasting processes.Oversee banking and treasury management.Manage working capital effectively.Participate in setting pricing for new products/programs.Analyze product margins.Develop manufacturing and engineering burden rates.Monitor and report on monthly manufacturing and engineering labor productivity.Maintain oversight of the year-end audit process.Monitor and report on capital expenditures (Capex).Provide weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.Produce monthly bookings, billing, and backlog reports.Assess the creditworthiness of new customers and vendors.Ensure timely quarterly sales tax filings. qualifications: Possess a BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA credentials are preferred.Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace or high technology experience is a plus.Exhibit strong teamwork and leadership qualities.Uphold unwavering integrity in all financial matters.Ability to make well-informed decisions within the complexities of commercial, military, and international aerospace environments.Successful candidates will lead an experienced team responsible for payroll, billing, payables, receivables.
