Key Responsibilities Month-End Close: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP. Reconciliations: Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate variances, specifically focusing on intercompany transactions and accruals. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and enhance the efficiency of the general ledger system. Audit Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing work papers and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required). Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; at least 2 years in a Senior-level role. Technical Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros). Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
