Randstad in partnership with Takeda are currently seeking Manufacturing Tech's supporting their Round Lake location. The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the hands-on execution of production processes at Takeda’s facility in Round Lake, IL, with strict adherence to cGMP and EHS regulations. This role involves operating under the general direction of a Lead Technician and Supervisor. Requirements & Work Environment Experience: High School Diploma/GED plus 1+ years of related experience, or an AA/higher degree with no prior experience. Schedule: Must be willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night, following a 2-2-3 calendar) in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Overtime, weekends, and holidays are required as needed. Skills: Basic written/oral English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, ability to follow detailed instructions, and adherence to all cGMP and safety requirements. Physical: Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods over a 12-hour shift, lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs, and wear required PPE/gowning for controlled environments (no jewelry/make-up). Inspect manufactured product for defects and irregularities. Operate general production equipment (e.g., labelers, parts washers, autoclave). Supply components, small parts, and equipment to cell culture and purification areas. Perform daily and manual cleaning of portable equipment and the production area to maintain GMP compliance. Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines. Troubleshoot process problems, review documentation, and participate on Continuous Improvement teams. Communicate any issues related to safety, quality, or equipment to the manufacturing lead and supervisor.
