job summary: Specialty Chemical manufacturer seeks to hire a hands-on Corporate Director of Engineering who will manage and direct a team of engineers supporting a multi-site organization toward its primary objectives, based on longterm product and profitability goals. Experience presenting to executive leadership required. Experience with Capex, mergers, joint ventures, acquisition of businesses, or sales of major assets is desired. Responsible for 6 plants in MA, NC, IL and TX. Targeting candidates within 3 hours of Charlotte, NC, Boston, MA or Pittsburgh, PA.REMOTE position with ~40% travel. Requirements: Engineering Degree requiredMaster's degree (M.A.) in engineering or business preferred Track record of leading multiple capital project simultaneouly in a dynamic work environment. Demostrated experience communicating effectively with all levels of an organization, including, executive leadership.
