job summary: Job Description The Program Director is responsible for leading the multi-year initiative to implement a modern CRM platform, enhance business process across the business lifecycle, and create a robust integrated data fabric supporting the business intelligence needs of a university community. The role requires critical thinking and solution-oriented approaches. location: CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts job type: Permanent salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: The Program Director will use a trusted-advisor approach to build strong relationships at all levels of the University and align diverse groups to collaborate. Collaborate with an Executive Committee and university partners to define the program business case, resource, and budget plans to guide the program Prepare materials and reports to facilitate collaborative decision-making Collaborate with stakeholders to define project methodologies, deliverables, operating cadence over the course of a multi-year program period Collaborate with a steering committee to recommend policy, business process, and software requirements Program & Project Management Manage an enterprise level program with parallel phases requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management Create and manage both program and project level plans; monitor and report on progress, resources, and budget; recommend adjustments as needed Drive alignment, accountability, and collaboration to ensure delivery of commitments Unblock issues by clearly articulating understanding of the problem, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved, and developing approach with the team Establish and measure effectiveness using KPIs Maintain documentation including risk registers, assumptions, and decision logs Supervise and mentor a project coordinator who will support the administrative activities of the program Communication & Change Management Coordinate with stakeholders to align on project activities Facilitate the creation, storage, and sharing of documents using approved collaboration tools Manage and communicate with remote team members, vendors, consultants, etc. during both traditional and non-traditional business hours Participate in identifying and executing initiatives to enhance and expand our team's knowledge Participate in the development of communication and change management plans Scale and Scope Multi-year, multi-million dollar budget planning and management Lead the creation and scaling of a matrixed project team comprised of multiple areas of client Change management for approximately 1100 university employees Change management for 450,000 alumni and students, hundreds of thousands of donors and volunteers Coordinate project efforts across 13+ schools, units and University affiliates Transform the business operations for University-wide fundraising of over $1 billion annually Replace and or/update ~ 21 software platforms and the data integrations with other University enterprise systems Lead the creation of a data fabric for over 200 years of institutional knowledge Manage relationships with multiple vendors, consulting agencies, and implementation partners Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience 5 or more years' experience in program or project management role leading enterprise-scale projects Experience implementing CRM to facilitate the work of development operations and alumni engagement or equivalent business functions in other industries Additional Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated project leadership skills with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget, and schedule Demonstrated ability to manage Director+ level internal and external partners including negotiation, conflict management, critical issues, executive communication, and leadership Exhibits sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects Agile, Scrum, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired Lean, Six-Sigma or other continuous improvement training Experience and knowledge of Data & Analytics, Master Data Management & CRM Implementation tools/platforms qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedEducation: Bachelors skills: Project ManagementCRM Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Randstad, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
