In this mid-level role, you will play a crucial part in supporting projects related to gasification, syngas processing, hydrogen, carbon capture, fertilizers, LNG, fermentation, sulfur recovery, gas treatment, and NGL recovery and fractionation. Our project portfolio includes cutting-edge work in converting biomass, municipal solid waste, coal, heavy oil, and other petroleum products into high-value, clean products, including renewable fuels like jet fuel, methanol, and diesel. Available in Locations: Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin location: Dallas, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $135,000 - 178,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead the process engineering design of chemical facilities specializing in biofuels, gasification, syngas processing, hydrogen, carbon capture, fertilizers (ammonia, urea, etc.), LNG, fermentation, sulfur recovery, gas treatment, and NGL recovery and fractionation.Prepare a variety of moderately complex process engineering deliverables, including simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, MSDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, instrument data, relief valve calculations, complex control descriptions, and cause & effect diagrams.Conduct complex research and provide recommendations for equipment and material selection.Lead the implementation of solutions throughout the project life cycle, including feasibility, FEL stages, FEED, detailed design, EPC, and commissioning.Share knowledge, foster innovation, and stay up-to-date with technology advancements in the field.Act as a technical specialist, providing consultation and guidance to project teams within the specific practice area.
