Manufacturing Lead (Production Supervisor) We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Manufacturing Leader to drive performance and lead a world-class production team. Floor Leadership: Lead from the front, setting the pace, priorities, and expectations for the production team. Team Development: Directly supervise, coach, and build team capability through cross-training and engagement. Operational Execution: Own daily production output (SQDC) and manage staffing and material readiness to meet demand. Continuous Improvement: Lead kaizen events and use lean tools like 5S and standardized work to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Technical Collaboration: Partner with Engineering to implement automation, tooling enhancements, and process optimizations. What You Bring Experience: 3–7+ years in manufacturing, specifically with electromechanical or thermal/mechanical systems. Leadership: 1–3+ years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations (or equivalent experience) and a Six Sigma Green Belt or higher. Lean Expertise: Proficiency in lean manufacturing, root-cause problem-solving (5 Whys, Fishbone), and KPI management. Growth Mindset: Proven ability to support production ramp-ups in a rapidly scaling organization. Work Environment Dynamic Setting: You will work on a manufacturing floor supporting the assembly of advanced cooling systems. Hands-on Interaction: Frequent work with mechanical, electrical, and fluid-based components. Manage schedules, staffing, and material readiness to meet aggressive demand. Team Leadership: Lead from the floor to set pace and priorities. Supervise, coach, and cross-train team members while fostering a "Safety-First" culture and driving accountability. Production Scaling & NPI: Lead the transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to full-scale production. Manage line balancing, capacity planning, and workforce readiness for rapid growth. Continuous Improvement: Use Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM) and structured problem-solving (A3, 5 Whys) to optimize throughput, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap. Key Metrics for Success Throughput & Cycle Time: Optimizing flow and meeting production targets. Quality Performance: Driving high First-Pass Yield and reducing rework. Lean Maturity: Implementing standardized work and visual management systems. Requirements & Skills Hands-on Leadership: Proven ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Technical Proficiency: Experience with complex electromechanical assemblies and process validation. Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to leverage KPIs and dashboards to identify constraints and trigger escalations.
