This role is perfect for a proactive HR professional who loves keeping operations running smoothly. You will be the engine behind the HR department—managing the central inbox, navigating employee benefits data, and running crucial reports. After an initial 5 days in-office to get fully oriented and meet the team, you will enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule working 1 to 2 days from home each week. Inbox & Communication Management: Act as the first line of support by managing the main HR inbox, triaging inquiries, and responding to employee questions promptly and professionally. Benefits Support: Provide essential administrative support for employee benefits, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data integrity. Administrative Operations: Handle daily HR administrative workflows, data entry, and special projects to support the team during this busy period. Requirements Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency required (VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation). HR Systems: Hands-on ADP experience required; Employee Navigator highly preferred. Experience: Foundational exposure to benefits administration and general HR workflows. Schedule & Location: On-site in Washington, DC for week one (5 days), then transitioning to a 1–2 day remote hybrid schedule. Accommodates a 30-hour work week (6 hours/day) with flexible daily start times. Availability: Must be available for an immediate/ASAP start and able to commit to the full 2-month contract timeline.
