job summary: A Site Manager is needed for a rail transport company, active in the fields of passenger transportation, signalling and locomotives in the Dallas, TX area. This position will maximize company return on investment and customer satisfaction by ensuring safe, clean, reliable, and cost effective operation of the Automated People Mover (APM) at assigned location. location: Dallas, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $125,000 - 145,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead and manage the personnel and day to day activities of the site to meet or exceed contractual obligations and customer expectations within the guidelines of the Company Code of Ethics, Core Values and Leadership Principles.Make timely and responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel matters including allocation of resources, customer service issues, performance appraisals, employee development, disciplinary actions, and labor/management relations.Ensure that all parts of the operations and maintenance organization carry out their assigned duties in a safe, efficient, and economical manner in line with company, division, regional and site objectives while implementing continuous improvement techniques to maximize customer and shareholder value.Manage approved budget, ensure compliance with all company policies as well as legal and administrative regulations pertaining to the operations of the SDC. Initiate corrective actions in these areas as necessary.Ensure the SDC exceeds all Key Performance Indicators, identify, set, and communicate site goals to all site personnel. Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively and fluently in English.Other languages are an asset. Education and Experience: BS/BA degree required, MS/MA/MBA preferred in business or related technical field.
