In the office position in NYC. location: New York, New York job type: Permanent salary: $97,000 - 100,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a HR strategy to support the overall organizational goals and business priorities, managing and applying best practices on the acquisition, motivation, development and retention of an engaged work force to enable business growth and development, facilitating and empowering the management as effective people managers, and provide consultation and advice to the management on key human resources decisions and direction in the shaping of the overall vision and future direction of the company. The candidate will provide strong leadership to the HR team in creating a clear vision and direction, collectively crafting a strategy to achieve that vision, make sure that the necessary guidance and support is provided to empower them to fulfill their potentials, and offer coaching as well as development opportunities for team members to perform effectively to achieve departmental goals and deliverables with professional excellence. Responsibilities Ensure the successful execution of the HR strategy by setting clear goals and milestones, constantly review and monitor progress, and take timely corrective actions Engage the team in the shaping of a common direction and a clear purpose for the HR department Empower the team by engaging team members to problem solving and decision making both on routine daily issues as well as long-term strategic discussions Motivate team members through open recognition of achievements and position performance gaps as opportunities for learning as a team Drive professional excellence through offering various learning and development channels and opportunities Create sense of belonging and enhance engagement level by building a departmental culture which is cherished by team members Help the team evolve to a high performing team through team building and facilitating the team development process Build, maintain and implement HR systems and processes on compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, talent acquisition and termination, employee rewards and recognition, talent management with the support of the specialists to ensure HR add value to the achievement of organizational goals Ensure compliance with the HR systems and processes through periodical review and audit Enable management and employees to fully leverage these HR systems and processes by offering communication and skills building through training Drive and execute key HR programs to deliver values to the management and employees of the company to strengthen organizational capabilities, employee engagement and business performance Prioritize, initiate and lead HR projects in alignment with the company's strategic priorities Ensure that all HR services are delivered with high quality on a timely basis which meet or even exceed customer expectations through monitoring and measurement by satisfaction level/KPIs Ensure that all HR practices are in compliance with local legislative requirements and educate management/employees accordingly through communication Act as an adviser to management on HR issues on a strategic level and on a daily basis in resolving employee relations cases Coach management on a continuously basis on becoming good people managers through the attraction, motivation, development and retention of talents Conduct annual employee satisfaction survey for a comprehensive assessment of key challenges to employee engagement and use the data collected for improvement actions Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Applied Psychology or Business Administration A minimum of 3 years' experience as an all-rounded HR manager for a well- established company and 6 years of HR generalist experience Understanding of state and local employment laws and other labor related ordinances as well as professional best practices experience with US payroll, salary tax, benefits and compliances Exposure working with outsourcing partners/BPO would be a definite advantage Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees at all levels Able to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment logical and analytical problem solving skills and is good with numbers A coach and facilitator Proactive, positive, adaptable and flexible with a mature personality WORK ENVIRONMENT: In the office 5 days a week. qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experienceEducation: Bachelors skills: HUMAN RESOURCEProject ManagerResourceProgram Management Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Randstad, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
