The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all warehouse inventory. This critical role involves performing cycle counts, conducting physical inventories, investigating and reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring accurate system records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The coordinator is also key in implementing and documenting inventory control processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize loss. An emphasis is placed on safety and compliance with all company policies and OSHA regulations. The successful candidate must have exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently to resolve inventory issues quickly and accurately, thereby supporting seamless operations and order fulfillment.A fundamental requirement for this position is extensive, verifiable experience operating various pieces of motorized material handling equipment. Candidates must be proficient and certified in the safe operation of a reach truck, order picker (cherry picker), sit down forklift, and stand up forklift. This hands-on expertise is essential for accessing, counting, and organizing inventory in high-bay racking and different storage environments. Furthermore, the coordinator will be expected to assist with general warehouse duties, including moving, staging, and locating materials as needed, utilizing their equipment operation skills.
